Wordbrook
This policy explains what happens to information when you use Wordbrook, a word search game for Android. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you. Wordbrook has no account system, no login, and no server of its own. Everything you do in the game stays on your device. The one exception is advertising, which is handled by Google and described below.
None. We operate no servers and receive no data from your device.
Wordbrook saves the following locally, using your device's standard app storage:
This information never leaves your device and is not visible to us. Uninstalling Wordbrook deletes all of it permanently.
Wordbrook displays advertisements through Google AdMob, which funds the game's development. To select and measure ads, Google may collect:
This collection is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy terms. We never receive this data — we see only anonymous, aggregate earnings reports.
You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Android gives you direct control over ad tracking, independently of this app:
Exact menu names vary between Android versions and manufacturers.
Some coins are earned by choosing to watch a video advertisement. This is always optional and always initiated by you. Declining costs you nothing but the coins, and no part of the game is locked behind watching an ad.
Wordbrook contains no in-app purchases. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be bought, cannot be exchanged for anything outside the game, and cannot be transferred. We never handle payment information of any kind.
Wordbrook is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because we collect nothing at all, there is nothing for us to delete — but if you believe a child's information has reached Google through the advertising described above, use the Android controls listed above, and contact us if you need help.
Privacy laws including the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA in California give you rights to access, correct, and delete personal information held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. For the advertising data Google collects, exercise those rights directly with Google through the links above.
We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.
Your game data never travels over a network, which removes the risk of it being intercepted. It is protected on your device by Android's standard app sandboxing, which prevents other apps from reading it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Meaningful changes to what is collected will also be noted in the app's release notes.
